Last week Mike and I met with Dr Pacini, my new OB. After the visit, I am very happy I switched. Although her office is all the way in Palm Springs, I think it's worth it. The whole staff (that I encountered that day) were great - extremely pleasant and helpful. Dr Pacini herself was great, too. I feel very comfortable being under her care. Two women I know through friends have had their baby delivered by Dr Pacini, and gave great recommendations. One less thing to worry about!
At the moment, I'm at the lab waiting to have a blood test. Yeah. My favorite. Why I am such a chicken about the though of draining a vein is beyond me, but it really does just make me want to hurl the more I think about it.
Next Fri we have an ultrasound of the kid scheduled to find out what kind we're having. I can't flippin wait. At least then I can stop referring to the child as 'It'
